Special Persons Day

Also Father's Day

From the Parents & Friends (P&F) Committee

On Father’s Day, volunteer children from North Melbourne Primary School (and their parents) put on an excellent show online to celebrate their special people (including fathers).

The central feature was two children, Archer and Ryder from Year 5, doing a ‘live bake’.  Many kids and their families joined and followed the live event.  While the cookies all came out differently, all had fun!

The show was delivered through a bespoke internet site that also hosted pre-recorded videos of children sharing their art and craft ideas, interviewing their special people, doing exercises and other activities.  It also featured artworks created by school pupils, celebrating their fathers, mothers and siblings.

A big well done to the volunteers, contributors, participants and school staff!  While lockdown is hard in many ways, we try our best to lift our spirits!
