Kings Park Campus Captains
I'm lucky to be a student at Copperfield; I've grown academically as a student, but I've also grown as a person. Copperfield has allowed me to build interpersonal relationships with almost everyone I know, and we've grown up with each other since Year 7. Being with the same people and seeing the same faces every weekday may seem boring, but my peers make the school day entertaining. Classes, being as fun as classes can be, professional and knowledgable, while kind and friendly teachers make them enjoyable and valuable to learn. Copperfield has taught me many beneficial things not just about doing well in school but also doing well in the real world. Facing many challenges (including a small friend named Covid-19) and having to find ways to overcome obstacles, Copperfield has set me a foundation to be able to develop personally, and as a member of the community. At Delahey, I hope to challenge myself even further and exceed my capacity as a learner. I want to do the best I can and try my hardest so I can ensure that I make the most out of my learning, and also to set myself up for future years. The past four years or so have been a rollercoaster, and I am glad to have been a student at CCKP. All the best to everyone, and stay safe!
Kind regards,

The last few months of unprecedented times have posed many challenging situations for all. During these times we have been given opportunities to learn on new platforms, appreciate the strength of wifi and certainly never take for granted our school and in particular our campus KP. Though online learning was tough, I’ve learnt how to adapt to this new environment and gained many skills. One thing I’ve learnt is that you have to use your time wisely. Time management is a very important skill to have. Though we all have our own rough patches it is important that we all take time to look after ourselves, not only physically but taking care of our mental health too. Upon return, we are grateful that as year 10 students we get some more time to spend onsite before our journey leads us to move to Delahey. Although this is the beginning of a new and exciting chapter, we are proud ,grateful and nostalgic for the years at KP. I cannot believe this is all coming to an end, saying a farewell to the place not only myself, but fellow peers that called this home. It was an honor and pleasure being your 2021 campus captain, having this opportunity meant more than a letter could ever tell. I would like to show my gratitude to teachers, families and friends who have been supporting one another throughout this year. I hope we all are well and safe and being kind to one another.
