Once upon a time, there was a Librarian at the primary school in Woodend called Susan. 

She had been away from her books and library for what felt like an AGE! She wondered how the books were coping without her.

The Horrible Histories Books wondered who this “Susan” was!! They asked if they could be left alone to do history and horrible things! How horribly rude.

The Bad Guys said they were far too busy to worry about the librarian as they were trying to save the world…and other stuff.

Even Andy and Terry thought that she must be one of those people that got lost in one of the stories of the treehouse!  Hhummpphh.  This was not going well.  Poor Susan.

Then the boy from Stuck piped up and said, “If I throw a double decker bus at you, will that help you to become unstuck and come back?”.  While I appreciated the sentiment, that would not be a good thing for the house.  So she thanked him…and then she heard…

“Excuse Me!!”

It was Rock, Paper and Scissors.  

“Don’t worry about the library and your books, Susan”, they cried in unison.  “We are keeping a close eye on everything for you until you return”.

All the books rejoiced and shouted, “You guys really are Legends!!”.

Susan thought that that was very true, and no longer worried about the books in her library.  But she still couldn’t wait to get back!

Fingers crossed; it will be Monday.
