Premiers Reading Challenge Results

Reading is valued at Keilor Downs College as is the participation in the Premiers’ Reading Challenge. The strong commitment of English teachers encouraging students to participate resulted in 3,224 books read with the most popular titles being Wonder by RJ Palacio, Trash by Andy Mulligan and Chinese Cinderella by Adeline Yen Mah. I would like to congratulate all 95 students from Year 7 B1, B2, G2, R1, R2, R3, Y1, Y2,  Year 8 B3, G1, R1, Y2 & Yr 9R2 that completed the required 15 books. 

They will be awarded the Premiers Reading Challenge Certificate and the KDC Pin. 

This year, the Library has reintroduced trophies, this will be announced and awarded to students at the upcoming incursion on November 23rd for Year 8 with Marc McBride and December 1st for Year 7 with Ingrid Laguna. Details will be on compass soon.
