In this fortnight’s newsletter rather than displaying some of the children’s writing, we have switched the focus to art. Congratulations to Theo and Suchi for their amazing in this area of the curriculum.

Congratulations to Sachi 

Sachi (Year 3) recently entered an art competition which was organised by Jesinta Murphy Dancing academy in Glen Waverley and I am so proud to report that she placed 1st! Sachi decided to decorate the ballet costume with nutshells because as part of a school inquiry session, she learnt about the importance of recycling for sustainability. To reduce waste, she decided to reuse nut shells to create the artwork. 

Attached are photos of Sachi’s artwork, feedback from the judge and the photos of the gift pack that she received.
