Positive Mindset Matters

Thanks to everyone who supported their child/ren with a positive mindset around change.  Yesterday we had a great transition day filled with anticipation and excitement.

We hope you all look forward to a great year of learning with anyone of our dedicated and skilled staff members.  Keep your minds open and positive to the great opportunities change offers – the alternative isn’t healthy or helpful, nor does it role-model the behaviours we hope to develop in our children/students.

2020 School Fees

Monday evening, School Council approved the 2020 School Fees policy.  Accompanying this newsletter is a copy of the 2020 fees, including the essential education items and voluntary contributions.

Fees are due term one & term two of 2020.  Payment options are possible, including BPAY arrangements.

2020 academic interview bookings

We will be opening bookings for start of year student interviews prior to the end of the school year.

Wednesday 29 – Friday 31 January are interview days.  You will be able to make bookings soon, or up until the dates.

Please keep an eye out for further information.

Year 3 Camp

All the best to our Year 3 campers, heading to Cave Hill Creek for their first camp experience.

I am certain the students will thoroughly enjoy the many great activities and collect a number of great memories along the way!

Special Events Forthcoming

I am looking forward to seeing our school community celebrate our students’ achievements in the coming week:

  1. Thursday 12 December – Kindergarten Graduation Evening (school)
  2. Monday 16 December – Year 6 Graduation Evening (Dowling Forest)
  3. Wednesday 18 December – Whole School Presentation Evening (school)

Fingers crossed we have great weather for the two events held on our school oval.  And, of course, we wish our Year 6 students all the best at their graduation.
