Positive Behaviour for Learning

During Week 6 students will continue to be learning what respect, responsibility and honesty looks like in the classroom, concentrating on following teacher instructions.

Teachers will be acknowledging students in the classroom with green value cards who display the following;

RESPECT

Follow teacher instructions

HONESTY

Be truthful (Can I do/Do I understand what the teacher has asked?)

RESPONSIBILITY

Seek help/support appropriately (If the above answer is no)

HONESTY

Honest reflection on your effort and learning (How did I do?)

In the playground, white values cards will be given to students who display the following behaviours.

RESPECT

Speak politely

HONESTY

Be truthful when speaking to a teacher and peers

Year Five students are also reminding students at our daily assemblies about how to use the school buddy benches and how to be water wise when using the taps and bubblers in the school.
