Camps Sports & Excursion 

The Camps, Sports and Excursions Fund (CSEF) provides payments for eligible students for activities like:

  • School camps or trips
  • swimming and school-organised sport programs
  • outdoor education programs
  • excursions and incursions.

Families holding a valid means-tested concession card or temporary foster parents are eligible to apply. 

Applications for 2019 are now open and will close on 28 June 2019 (end of term 2). 

 

Please find the application form attached, fill in relevant information and provide a copy of your valid concession card to the school office.

NEW - School Attendance

NEW - Fee Payments via Direct Deposit

Families who are making payments via direct deposit are reminded to ensure the payment is properly referenced with either Student's FULL name, parent FULL name or family account number so all payments can be identified.  We have had a number of payments come through recently that have been very difficult to identify, which meant the payment could not be allocated to the correct family on payment.

NEW - Family Contact Details

Families are reminded to update any changes to residential address, contact numbers - including home, work & mobile along with any changes to emergency contacts details.  Changes can be made directly through the office, but should also be updated on CareMonkey.

This is extremely important in the event we need to contact you regarding illness or injury to your child. 

NEW - Student Illness & Medications

Children with serious colds, flu or other debilitating illnesses should be kept at home. 

When Children become ill or injured at school, they will normally be sent to sickbay for assessment and observation before parents/guardians are contacted, this may include a request for student to be collected if deemed necessary.  In case of serious illness or injury, the school may seek emergency medical assistance prior to phoning parents or emergency contacts. 

Your child should remain at home if He/She has -

  • A Fever - a child with a fever of more than 38deg must be kept at home ( or will be sent home). Seek medical advice and give plenty of fluids.
  • Been prescribed antibiotics for an acute illness - a child who has been prescribed anitbiotics for an acute illness should be kept at home for at least 24 hours and and until they are well.
  • Diarrhoea - a child who has watery stools should not return until he/she has been free of diarrhoea for 24 hours.  Seek medical advice and give plenty of fluids.
  • Vomiting - a child who is vomiting should be kept home until 24 hours after the last incident.

NEW - 2020 NotreDame College Enrolments 

Families are reminded that the cut-off date for Year 7, 2020 enrolments is Monday, 3 June. 

If you are considering Notredame for your Grade 6 student, it is most important you return enrolment form including all relevant documentation directly to Notredame prior to this date.

NEW - 2020 St Anne's College Enrolments

St Anne's College is currently taking expressions of interest for enrolments for 2020.

In 2020 we will offer Levels Foundation - One - Seven  - Eight.

Enrolments open: 24 May 2019

Open Day: 24 May with the following times available - 9:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 4:30 p.m., 7:30 p.m. - College Tour and enrolment packs will be available.

St Anne’s College Applications Close: 24 June 2019: 4:00 pm

Completed Enrolment Application Form with all required documentation must be submitted to St Anne’s College by this date.

Updated - School Photos

Photos are now ready to order!

 Families that have registered would have received an email Tuesday morning with all the information needed to view and order your photos.

 If you have not previously registered, you can do so by going to www.order.arphotos.com.au and use the individual code that was distributed on photo day to complete your order.

If you have lost your code, please contact ARP directly on (03) 5243 4390 and the customer service team will be able to assist.

 There is an initial ordering period for free delivery back to the school which will end on Sunday 26th May 2019. After this time, there will be a $9.95 postage and handling fee on all orders, which will be sent home to a nominated address.

Working With Children Check

Parents or family members who wish to help out in the classrooms or on excursions are required to have an up to date Working With Children's Card. These can be applied for online and there is no cost if you are a volunteer.  A copy of this needs to be passed onto the office.

A reminder to notify the school office with any changes or updates to your Working With Children Check.

UPDATED - School Fees

2019 School fees been billed and emailed to families, if you have not received this please contact the school office.  Any fees that are outstanding from previous years will be rolled over to this years accounts.

If you received a paper copy of your statement, please contact the school office with your email address so we can update the school records and send home future statements and receipts via email.

If you require a tax invoice for your records, please also contact the school office to arrange this.

 

Direct Debits - Payments have commenced, if any family wishes to use this facility, please print off the attached Authority form and return it to the school office as soon as possible. 

 

Medication

Can all families please ensure they provide up to date medical plans and necessary medications to the office.  If you have provided medication to the office in the past, please contact the office to ensure this medication is still valid and in date.

Parents are reminded that all non prescription medication to be administered at school/on camp or excursions, requires a pharmaceutical label detailing student name and dosage. A signed authority to administer medication form is also required, a copy of this is located on the School Information page.

Local Town Bus fares

The following fares will apply for students travelling on the Mooroopna Town School Buses. It would be appreciated if students can have the correct fare to present to driver when travelling.

Single Travel - $1.20

Daily - $2.40

Weekly - $11.20
