Reconcilation Week

What is the National Reconciliation Week about?

National Reconciliation week is a time for all Australians to commit to changes and actions within their circle of influence to contribute to a more mature and inclusive Australian community. It is also a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures and achievements. It is the ideal time for everyone to join the reconciliation conversation and to think about how we can help turn around the disadvantage experienced by many Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. It is also a time to celebrate living in a country with the oldest living culture in the world.

GV Reconcilation Week Mass

Today St Mary's played host to local Goulburn Valley Primary Schools as well as Notre Dame and St Anne's students as we celebrate National Reconciliation Week. Our senior students as well as our younger Indigenous students joined our visitors in taking part in the mass celebrated by Monsignor Peter. Last Friday 3/4LC recognised Reconciliation Week by creating pictures that said "Sorry".

Winter Uniform

Thank you to all of our students who are wearing the correct winter uniform. Just a reminder that for our girls the pinafore is the only part of the uniform that can be worn with tights. If girls are choosing to wear a skort or unisex shorts they are to be worn with white socks not tights. The grey bootleg pants or pinafore with navy tights are the warmer options.

Mass of Compassion -St. Vinnies Winter Appeal -Fri. June 14th

Please  join us in the Marian Centre for this very important Mass. Families are being asked to donate non-perishable which can distribute to needy families. St Vinnies are also in desperate need of warm, winter clothing such as jumpers, tracksuits, pyjamas and windcheaters.

Pupil Free Day

Please note that this Friday 31st May is a Pupil Free Day. Our teachers will be participating in Professional Development on Reading.
