Inter-House Rowing Regatta
Thank you to the parents who came to Champion Lakes on Founders' Day to watch the Inter-House Rowing Regatta. It was a great opportunity to showcase the students in the Rowing Club and to promote the sport. Unfortunately due to the windy conditions and the inexperience of some of our rowers (especially our Bronze group) keeping the boats still for the start of the races was near impossible. This caused a few delays in the races. Despite this it was a great event. Next year we hope to have a commentator to enhance the experience for spectators. Thank you to Head of Physical Education, Lonneke Holleman and Year 6 teacher, Brady Morris for their excellent work throughout the season.
The results of the Regatta were as follows;
1st: Scott House (42 points)
2nd: Hale House (29 points)
3rd: Ramsden House (13 points)
4th: Charter House (8 points)
A big congratulations to Scott House!
