Aspire Celebrate Reflect

Dear Parents,

This week we inducted our new student College leaders for 2021/2022. I acknowledge the courage it takes for someone to put their hand up and take on these roles, as the positions are not about power and privilege but about service, care and responsibility. I wish all our new College leaders the best of luck in their new roles and you see which roles they have accepted in this newsletter.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank our outgoing College leaders for all their hard work and commitment over the past 12 months. They were an excellent group to work with and I wish them, and all our Year 12s the best of luck as they move closer to their end of year exams and commitments.

This week we celebrated Diversity Day and I would like to thank all the staff who assisted in ensuring it was a successful day. Today we staged our Athletics Carnival and as with any event there is a lot of work that goes on behind the scenes, and I thank Jake Butler, Richard Worrall and all our staff for helping make it a great day for all.

Next week is the week of our annual musical, and this year it's Mary Poppins. If advanced ticket sales are any indication it's going to be a huge event. Good luck to everyone involved.

Thank you and Be Kind Always,

~ Mr Roger Herbert
