YEAR 8 STEM

The Year 8 STEM class have been working on a massive Inquiry unit throughout the year. 

They are applying the engineering design process to design a Biodome on a planet of their choice! Part of this involves understanding how the human body systems work together to maintain homeostasis, the pathophysiology that can occur to interrupt homeostasis, how Space might affect the human body and how we can apply technology to overcome this. 

Students dissected a lambs brain to gain an understanding of the Brain and Nervous system to enable them to understand how the brain and nervous system can be affected when diseased. 

They did excellent work!
