CONNORS RUN

This year BSC has been involved in the fundraising for the Connor’s Run, which honours Robert Connor Dawes.

Our goal as a school is to raise $3,000, and 28 days to go until the Connors fun run, we have already collected $2,765.

The IB cohort have been working with the Robert Connors Dawes foundation (RCD), to discuss Brighton Secondary College’s involvement and more.

Upon coming up with many ideas to help progress the fundraising to the RCD, the IB cohort is encouraging parents, students, and staff, to join the Connors Run and help raise money for “changing the odds for young people facing brain cancer” which is the number one cancer killer of young Australians.

Brighton Secondary’s involvement has been nothing but extraordinary, and it is strongly encouraged that more students sign up for the Connors fun run which is occurring on the 12th of September, taking your pick to start the run (or walk) in Hampton, St Kilda or South Yarra.

We now have a Student Team, Staff Team and Parent Team for Connor’s Run.

We wanted to give a shout out to Adam Weisz of Year 8, who has already raised $852 for the BSC Student Team. What a fantastic effort!

To sign up please go to the following website and add yourself to the BSC Team.

Thanks, the IB class.
