 Dear parents Teachers and Students, 

On the 26th of July, students who were successful in their events at the WVPS athletics day went on to participate in the district athletics carnival, having a fabulous time. We competed against 5 other schools from this area. Some of the events we competed in were high jump, long jump, 100 metres, 200 metres and 800 metres. We ended up winning the overall competition by 300 points. 

The students displayed great sportsmanship, excellent behaviour, and fantastic athletic ability. Thank you to the teachers and staff that helped out during the athletics day. Many of our students will now go on to compete in the regional athletics, so we look forward to sharing their achievements with you.
