Beeswax Wrap Workshop

The SRC will host a Beeswax Wrap workshop at lunchtime on Monday, August 28. This event is open to all students, and they can have a lot of fun learning how to make a wrap - a bee-utiful alternative to single-use plastic.

Watch out for a Compass News post and Teams notifications!

RUOK? Day

The student community will mark RUOK? Day on September 14, and the theme of the day is YELLOW!

Students can attend school in casual clothes, and the day will include a bake sale and other activities for all students to enjoy.

All funds raised from the bake sale will fund our D Block mural project.

Students are asked to be sure to have change handy on the day so that you can support the event!

Twilight Market - November 17 2023

The committee has almost finalised the list of stallholders for the market - a tough job due to space limitations and an unprecedented number of applicants!

This year, there will be a greater number of stalls, but many of our old favourites will be back, with a number of students exercising their entrepreneurial skills!  The community will be able to knock off their Christmas shopping early, indulge in fabulous food and refreshments as well as enjoy the best of BSC entertainment - all in one place!

The Twilight Committee is also calling for the donation of books (excluding textbooks) to stock the second-hand book stall - so if you are in the mood to clear your shelves, your donation would be greatly appreciated!                                      SEE DETAILS BELOW!

Due to storage limitations and current administration office arrangements, we gratefully request that all donations are

  1. submitted no later than August 30
  2. delivered in a box/bag, and clearly tagged with a family/student name
  3. delivered to A1
Don't forget to record the Twilight Market event on your calendar -            FRIDAY NOVEMBER 17 - 5pm to 8pm.
