LEGO CLUB
Our Lego Club is a fun, Lego-themed group that is designed to build the social skills of students through communication.
Through play based participation in Lego Club children learn and practice a range of social strategies such as:
- working in a team
- sharing and taking turns
- negotiating appropriately with peers
- giving and listening to instructions
- reading body language and facial expressions
- having conversations
- enjoying playing together to achieve a goal.
We currently have 2 staff and 6 children involved in the program every week.
Structure, visual supports and a Lego points certificate system make this play based learning fun!
