LEGO CLUB

Our Lego Club is a fun, Lego-themed group that is designed to build the social skills of students through communication.

Through play based participation in Lego Club children learn and practice a range of social strategies such as:

  • working in a team
  • sharing and taking turns
  • negotiating appropriately with peers
  • giving and listening to instructions
  • reading body language and facial expressions
  • having conversations
  • enjoying playing together to achieve a goal.

We currently have 2 staff and 6 children involved in the program every week.

Structure, visual supports and a Lego points certificate system make this play based learning fun!
