On Monday 24 of July our three Boys’ Netball teams (Juniors, Intermediate and Seniors) competed in the Eastern Metropolitan Region Netball Finals at Waverly Netball Centre. All of the teams performed strongly throughout the day, with each side making it through the pooling games and gaining a spot in the semi-finals.
Unfortunately, both our Junior and Senior team were narrowly defeated in the semi-final, however our intermediate team went on to win both their semi-final and the grand final, earning them a spot in the state finals.
The state final will be played on the 28 August at the Waverly Netball Centre. We encourage all parents to attend the match and cheer the boys on. Congratulations to all three teams on making it to the EMR stage and best of luck to our Intermediate boys.

On Monday 24 July the Year 8 boys gave it their all at the second round of Netball and had some stunning plays, coming away with two wins against Wheelers Hill and Lilydale, and a loss to Camberwell. They made it through to the semi-final, with some tough calls not going their way, and put us all on the edge of our seats when we finished in a draw. During extra time they unfortunately lost to Blackburn, by only a couple of goals. They put their hearts and body on the line for the game. The Coaches, Abbey E and Ella W, and I, were very proud of their efforts on the day. Everyone played spectacularly!
MVP’s for the day go to Corey Ah-Mu, Dale Jeffery and Bryce McMillan.
