Athletics Day

Captain Ansett (above - Edward Marr Foundation) did his best to get Ansett over the line but unfortunately it was Jacka’s day.  Congratulations Jacka, it has been an exciting year for your house, winning the Swimming, Cross Country and now  Athletics.  Well done to all students on their attendance, dressing up in house colours and actively participating in as many events as possible.  Also a big thank you to all parents and carers in attending and supporting your child, thanks also Mr Pettifer and Ms Milne for organising the carnival who had great support from Mrs Earl and Mr Gretgrix.  Thanks to Allan, Peter and Jo for the magnificent BBQ.  

Good luck to all students participating in NCD Athletics and Calder Sports this week.

Learning Conversations – Feedback

Thanks to all parents and carers for attending our Learning Conversations from last week, I hope all who attended felt it was a valuable process and gave you an insight to where your child is at.  We are always trying to improve this process and all feedback is welcomed.  If you have time and you can see an improvement, please email me on dean.lockhart@education.vic.gov.au.

2024 – VCE / VM Subject Selections 

This signifies an important starting date for planning for 2024.  We encourage all students thinking about doing a VCE subject in 2024 to do their due diligence and ask questions to various teachers to make sure they are happy with subject selections.  We place a high priority on our VCE and will always ensure we offer VCE at our college, if we have enough students chose a particular subject we will run it!
