Work Experience

What a great last week of Term 2 with our students going out on work experience. We had students at KMPG and Macpherson Kelly lawyers in the city, one student at a horse ranch in Echuca while we had some students at our local Salvation Army Stores lending a hand, local supermarkets, mechanics, aged care facilities, primary schools, retail shops, warehouses, and some trades for the week.

Our students are to be commended for their hard work in preparation for this week and the way they represented the school and themselves during this time. We had such positive feedback from the employers. We even saw some casual work positions offered to students during this time.

Well done to all!

Morrisby Interviews

Our Year 9 students completed their Morrisby profiling this week, with a fantastic strike rate. We have Morrisby Career Counsellors coming out on Tuesday 15 and Wednesday 16 August to unpack the results for the students. Parents are also welcome to attend these interviews.  Appointments will be made next week for the students. Look out for compass posts explaining the process.

Open Days

University Open Days are fast approaching, please see the hyper link below for an extensive list of these dates. These days are a great way to explore the University’s and speak directly with a lot of the lectures and current students, see displays, look at transportation availability and get loads of information.
