from the Principal's Desk

In this week's newsletter I have included photos of our School Leaders and Junior School Councillors. So far I have been impressed by their enthusiastic and mature approach to leadership. Every Monday Sarah and Jaxon lead our school assembly and our house captains have been involved in the swimming sports and some upcoming house activities. Junior School Councillors are currently preparing to help out at the fete and also run some lunchtime activities. 

School Council nominations close this afternoon. Thank you to those who have already put their names forward. If you would still like to be involved in the school in some capacity, we also have our School Council Sub-Committee, Facilities and Grounds and Parent and Friends.

School Fete is bubbling along and our Parent and Friends Committee have been extremely busy. If you are able to help out please see the Fete Roster on our Parent and Friends page.

This week Jody Tilley, Tamara Joyce, Melissa Hall and myself attended a School Veggie Garden's Workshop  at the Numurkah District Health Service. It was very informative and we will be looking to implement some of the great ideas that were shared at this meeting.
