National Science Week

National Science Week
Last week was an exciting occasion for scientists throughout Australia. National Science Week which coincidentally runs the same time as Koonung Science Week, was celebrated with a multitude of activities. It began with a bang as Mr Marsh set off dry ice bombs on the school oval that were so loud they stopped passers-by in their tracks. On Wednesday activities included the inaugural drones and robotic interactive that attracted a large crowd of students. Making slime was yet again a hit this year with record numbers of participants through the science rooms. The week ended with the all too famous teacher vs student Family Feud. Teachers reclaimed the title edging out the students in the closing rounds. I would like to thank all students involved and the Science staff who ran the events.
