Koonung PFA wins award

Exciting news, the Koonung PFA has won the 2018 "Joan Kirner Parent Participation Award". The award recognises a parent group for their efforts to encourage/facilitate parent participation and engagement at Koonung. 

Nicole Martin, Cath Bennie and Nicky Smith went along to receive the lovely trophy on behalf of the PFA and attend the celebratory lunch.  Nicole said "It was very exciting to attend an honour for the PFA to be recognised by Parents Victoria for our contribution to Koonung."

A big thank you to all our parents for your help, support and hard work in the many PFA activities run throughout the years - as it due to all your efforts that we were selected!  We have a great parent "vibe" at Koonung which is wonderful to have recognised and celebrated. 

The trophy will be at the front office, if anyone would like to have a look in the next few weeks.
