CHANGES ALL AROUND

If you have been to the library lately you might not know where the graphic novels and classic novels now live! Well, I have moved both collections to the back of the library where they have more space which makes them easier to browse. Another recent change is the extension of book loans. You used to be able to borrow a book for 2 weeks only now I have extended the lending time to 3 weeks with the option to renew.

We may be living in the digital age, but reading books is still a big part of growing up. And the books that young people read – and how difficult they are – can have a massive impact on their ability to understand exam questions, tell fake news apart from real news and get informed and involved in society. I encourage everyone to try being unplugged and read, it is a great escape!
