11 students at the recent GWSR Athletics performanced strongly, in cold windy conditions in Warrnambool on Monday 17th September.
Congratulations to James Cleaver on his trifecta with 3 first placings in the 100m, 200m and 400m events with a record under his belt as well.
Emily Pitts ran a perfectly timed hurdles run holding on strong to win gold in her event.
James and Emily will now compete at the SSV State Finals in Melbourne in October.

Gemma Hill of Year 11 has earned the title of State Champion for her efforts at the Winchester State School Clay Target Championships in Echuca on Monday. With a 15/15 in the first shoot and 13/15 in the second she came away with the Champion Sash and overall winner trophy and medallion. Well done Gemma!
Congratulations to Kieran Barker of Year 10 on your accomplishment of taking home the Leading Goal Kicker for the Hampden League U16 Competition in 2018 with 44 goals, 10 clear of second place.
