Medieval Day

What a day! Combining the aspects of dance, weapons and crime and punishment,

Medieval Day was a very entertaining day! We learnt about so many things, but my

favourite was crime and punishment, as it was confronting to hear how punishments

have changed from 400AC to 2019!

However, we also were lucky enough to participate in a student-lead Medieval Feast.

Each student from Year 8 brought in an authentic food from the Middle Ages,

whether that be bread, meats, fruits or vegetables. It was a truly wonderful

experience to be able to sit and chat with the people around you, while snacking on

a simple bread and butter. This is a day I will never forget!
