Wellbeing & Engagement

Wellbeing/Engagement

We have made it to week 2 of Remote Learning.  We understand that this is a completely new way of teaching and learning and that it is incredibly hard for some families who are working from home and also assisting our students with their remote lessons. We are taking your feedback and adjusting our practice to help the students to learn independently as much as possible.

As you are aware – our students will all respond to this period of home learning differently. Some will flourish with the independence and individual control over their learning, some will need some limited support, and some will need significant support – from their families, their teachers and other professionals. The teachers are doing a wellbeing check in with every child through Seesaw every day. Please encourage your son/daughter to complete this check in.

I have compiled some resources for you that might assist at this time.

Be kind to yourselves and remember that this is an unforeseen and unprecedented state. This time will pass.
