2014 Book List & Contributions
A reminder to parents that payments for the 2014 Book lists are due no later than Monday 16th December.
If you would like to take advantage of the Early Bird Saving on the Curriculum Contributions, payments also need to be made by Monday 16th December.
Payments can be made by cash (correct amount is preferred as limited change is available), cheque made out to 'Ormond Primary School', or at the office with credit/EFTPOS. **Please note that we do not take payments over the phone.
Donations to the Building Fund are to be separate payments of either cash or cheque made out to 'Ormond Primary School Building Fund'.

Student Banking
A reminder that this week, Thursday 5th December, is your last chance to redeem your tokens. Rewards still available are:
- Money box (Spen, Addy, Pat, Cred, Pru)
- USB
- Handball
- Knuckles Game
- Calculator
- Headphones
A minimum of 10 tokens per reward is required. If you do not have reward cards left please write your request on a piece of paper with your name, grade and the reward you would like and place it in your deposit wallet.
** Please note that reward tokens will not be accepted on the final banking day, and will no longer be redeemable in 2014.
There will be no Student Banking in the final week of Term. The last day of Student Banking will be Thursday 12th December 2013.
Icy Pole Day
There will be no Icy Pole day in the final week of Term. The last Icy pole Treat Day will be Thursday 12th December 2013.
A huge thank you to Jayne Sullivan and the many helpers that have volunteered their time every Thursday to sell Icy Poles to the children this Term.Your efforts are very much appreciated.
Library News
Reminder letters are being sent home this week for all overdue Library books. Could students please make sure they return ALL borrowed books by the end of the year.
For any students or families leaving Ormond Primary at the end of the year, please ensure you have no outstanding books to return before your last day.
Christmas Church Service
Ormond Primary School students and staff have been invited to attend a Christmas Service at Ormond Anglican Church on Thursday 12th December. If you do not wish your child to attend the service please complete the form which has been sent home this week and return it to your class teacher.
Donations of non perishable items for St. Marks Church, Fitzroy can be brought along to the service on this day.
Junior School Council
The Junior School Council would like to have one last fundraiser for the year. There will be a casual clothes day on Friday 6th December. ** Please bring a gold coin donation on the day
The proceeds will go to the ‘Save The Children Fund’ specifically to assist the people of the Philippines who were devastated by the typhoon.
Uniform Orders
Demand for new uniform items at this time of year is quite high. Although we do our best to ensure we have stock on hand to fulfil orders, sometimes there can be delays with supply. Some stock may not be available until the new year. We understand that this may cause some inconvenience, and ask for your patience.
**Please note that Beanie's are no longer available to order from the uniform list.**
Korean Language Awards
Congratulations to the following students for their outstanding achievements in Korean study this year. The awards will be presented at assembly on Monday, 9th of December.

P.E/Sports News
Congratulations to the Ormond P.S. cricket team who have had a terrific year on the pitch.
