After School Soccer Program:
Next term Grayling Primary School will be hosting a soccer program after school run by qualified local coaches and possibly visits from NPL, A-League or W-League Football clubs. The program consists of four sessions on Thursdays from 3:15-4:15pm for Grade 1 & 2 students. The sessions are as follows:
- Session 1: Thursday the 15th of June
- Session 2: Thursday the 22nd of June
- Session 3: Thursday the 29th of June
- Session 4: Thursday the 6th of June
Students who participate will also receive the following items; 1x Mini Roos Backpack, 1x Mini Roos Football, 1x Lunch Box and possibly some additional giveaways and promotions. If your child wants to participate in the program, could you please email me at Samuel.pike@education.vic.gov.auto confirm a spot. This is a great opportunity for students to work on their soccer skills and be physically active in a safe, friendly environment.
Myself or another Grayling staff member will be present during this session to supervise. Parents are more than welcome to watch provided the program is run outside; however, if run in the gymnasium parents will need to wait outside due to COVID restrictions. Students who usually attend after school care can still participate and after the session will join Their Care.
Could you please email me no later than the 8th of April, any responses after this date will not be guaranteed a spot.
I look forward to hearing from you,
Samuel Pike
