Dining Hall News

Dining and food continue to be hot topics of conversation between our students, particularly our seniors. Last week Chef Nick Harvey met with the student leaders to discuss the menu. It was a small group, however many helpful suggestions were made and Chef Nick has agreed to trial some of these. This is the constructive feedback they offered Chef Nick:  

  • Friday night BBQ  
  • Alter Sunday night menu rotation 
  • Breakfast menu is working well 
  • Lunches are great 
  • Savoury option for recess once a week, quiche and pizza scrolls 
  • Dinners are good, balance chicken/ red meat and rice/ pasta options. 

In-house lunch on Friday for Senior School boarders has been a successful addition to the lunch options with students saying that they really enjoy being able to come together and eat in the Dining Hall once a week. Last Friday, the party pack options were very popular amongst the seniors. On Monday, the Middle School boarders will have lunch in the Dining Hall once a week on a trial basis.
