Endeavour House News

I hope you all had a lovely long weekend with your families and that our Endeavour boarders are ready to take on the second half of Term One.

International Women’s Day was celebrated on Tuesday and we invited Ms Vanessa Bromhead to speak to us after an in-house dinner celebration. Ms Bromhead spoke to the students about being a woman in a leadership position over the years of her career. Prior to moving to WA, Ms Bromhead managed a boarding house  of 110 boys at Sydney’s Knox Grammar. Thank you to Vanessa for speaking to the students on this important day.

Healthy Friendships

Recently in Endeavour we have been discussing healthy friendships. Friendships are super important in the school years, so knowing the skills to have a healthy friendship are important.  We will continue helping our boarders to understand the important roles thier friends play in their lives and how to develop healthy, positive and nurturing friendships.

Endeavour Staff

We are pleased to welcome Ms Lauren Holder to the Endeavour Team, you can read more about Lauren in the Heads of Boarding section of this issue of the Boarding Buzz. Lauren will be on shift for three mornings in Endeavour and every second weekend. Lauren has already connected with the Endeavour boarders whilst Sienna has been on nursing prac in Donnybrook. It will be great to have both our ‘big sisters’ back in Endeavour by the end of term.

Birthdays

Our recent birthdays have included Amelia Peacock, Paige Tapscott and Amy Medway, who celebrated their birthdays over a weekend with friends and family. Happy Birthday!
