Recreation News

We hope that you are all receiving your weekly update on Recreation events each Wednesday or Thursday on your messenger apps groups. If not, please make contact with your messenger manager listed in the last Buzz.  We have already seen the benefit of parents encouraging their young people to be involved in the various recreation activities.

Recreation has been well supported by our students and we thank you for your help with this. Recreation has needed to change slightly, as we can no longer have our Senior and Middle School boarders at the same indoor location simultaneously. This may slightly restrict the access your student has to recreation until restrictions are altered.

To start the term, many students have enjoyed the swimming pool, cinema, beach visits, gym sessions, watching local football matches, playing spotlight, attending the Pride Fair, participating in a bake off and exploring some local cafes.

This weekend we are looking forward to attending the GSG Red Carpet to watch our Year Twelve Ball attendees enter the stadium. We are also looking forward to the MSWA ride that we have supported for many years.  There is another Disabled Surfing event on Saturday and we hope that many of our students will also support this Recreation activity.
