From the Principal 

Dear Families,

We are excited to be getting back to a more normal way of school for the last four weeks of Term 1. Our teaching and learning focus in this edition features our Vietnamese lesson focus this term and an overview of Bounce Back! our social skills program.

The community Basketball program is underway and students are clearly enjoying the chance to participate in sport once again.

Just a couple of reminders to help keep everyone on track as the term gets busy;

On Wednesday 23rd March we will be having our Governing Council AGM in the Purple building at 5pm. Covid protocols apply (masks, hand sanitising, social distancing) and the meeting will be a short one but we do hope that parents interested in joining our 2022 Governing Council attend so that we can welcome you with more information about how to be involved. Parent perspectives on learning are important to our school community and we would love to have you involved. Perhaps you could call in on your way to the Woodville High School Open Night which is also 23rd March.

Another important way of connecting to learning is through Parent Teacher interviews which will be in Week 9 (Monday to Thursday). Please make sure that you return your interview slip on Monday 21st March to ensure that you get a timeslot as places are limited due to the capacity of the gym. We have attached another copy of the interview note below in case your copy has gone astray and a reminder about Covid protocols.

Parent Teacher Interview Note

A reminder to all families that reply slips are due back 21st March for our Parent Teacher Interviews in Week 9. We are looking forward to meeting with you and sharing your child's learning journey. Please remember our COVID safe protocols of wearing a mask, sanitising and socially distancing. There will be designated waiting areas and interviews will be limited to 15 minutes.  Please support us to make the interview process run smoothly by being on time. ALL interviews will be held in the Gym.
