Lawn Bowls Championships

Congratulations to all the children who played in the Greater Western Lawn Bowls Championships in Ararat. It was a great day, where we all learnt a lot more about the game of lawn bowls. The A team were the overall winners on the day, and will now travel to Sunbury on Thursday 5th May. A big thank you to Jane Donovan and the Colac Bowling Club (lake), for allowing us to borrow their bowls and for all their assistance along the way.

Year 5/6 Golf Lessons

Our Year 5 and 6 students will have another golf lesson tomorrow Wednesday 23rd March. Children are reminded to wear their sports uniform and to bring a drink bottle. The Colac Primary Schools Golf Tournament will be held on Thursday 26th May.

Colac Division Athletics

Next Monday 28th March, a number of our children will travel to the Colac Central Reserve to compete in the Colac Division Athletics. The Sacred Heart Athletics team has been finalised and children will be notified of their events today. 

We do need assistance on the day, so any parent that has a child involved, if you could help in any way it would be greatly appreciated. 

Permissions will be forwarded through PAM in the coming days, including a parent option to help out on the day. (Parents must have a current 'Working With Children Check' which has been dropped into the school's front office before the event)

Children who have qualified for this event are reminded that they will need to wear their sports uniform and school hat, bring along fruit, snacks, lunch and two drink bottles. Sunscreen needs to be applied at home, but will be supplied on the day for children to continue to reapply. 

Sacred Heart Junior Athletics

On Friday 8th April, our students in Foundation - 2 will participated in the Sacred Heart Junior Athletics. This will take place at Sacred Heart. The event will start at 11.30am and finish at 1.20pm. Children will participate in running, throwing and jumping events. Parents, guardians and grandparents are invited to come along and watch their children in action.
