From the Principal

School Connection
I was so proud today when one of our students came to show me a necklace she had made for herself with the letters '#RNPS'. It's so warming to see students who are proud to be part of our amazing school community and feel driven to show that in whatever little way they can. Thank you Tahlia for making my day!
Student Leaders
I am always so proud of our student leaders. Whether they be Captains, Junior School Council (JSC) representatives, Friendship Ninjas (stay tuned!) or another role in the school, they invariably go about their tasks with pride and respect for both the school and others. This year's student leadership group is a fantastic mix of students who help represent the hopes, ambitions, interests and ponderings of their peers. They act as role models for our younger students and help keep the RNPS spirit and culture alive and well in the classrooms, out in the yard and in the community more broadly.
To all those students who nominated for a leadership role and put themselves out there, Thank You: by doing so you have already identified that you wish to be a leader for your peers and it is your words and actions that will determine your impact.
To those students pictured in this gallery who were voted into their role, Congratulations: it is a privilege to hold a leadership role in your community and one that I'm sure you will perform admirably in.
Enrolments for siblings
A reminder to all siblings who will be starting Prep in 2023 that enrolments are now open.
Contact the office for details and to collect an enrolment form.
It is always very helpful to know with plenty of time what is happening with enrolments so please do this sooner rather than later if you intend to have another child start next year.
Also, if you have friends who are looking at schools now, please get the word out about our amazing school. Strong enrolments in Prep benefit students in all year levels, so your word-of-mouth helps our school to continue delivering outstanding educational opportunities for all children. Prospective families can request a tour through the school website: www.ringwoodnorthps.vic.edu.au
School Council Nominations
The initial round of nominations for School Council has closed. We currently have only three nominations for 7 positions.
We have had some wonderful parents contributing to the school over many years and School Council is one of those ways in which parents can participate in the school.
School Council holds 8 meetings each year (2 per term) at 7pm in the RNPS Staffroom. These are generally held on the 3rd Tuesday of the month.
See the below information to find out about how you can be part of School Council. We are now seeking further nominations. Forms can be submitted at the front office.
Department of Health Survey
Please see the following letter from the Department of Health requesting feedback from parents regarding vaccines for children aged 5 to 11 years.
