2023 Prep Enrolments

2023 Prep enrolments are now open. If you intend to send your child to PBSS in 2023, please read the below information on the flyer to secure your child’s position for next year.

Prep and Year 1 Easter Hat Parade

On Friday April 1st we will hold our annual Easter Hat Parade for our Prep and Year 1 students. The children will make an Easter hat at home and bring into school on Friday April 1st to join in the parade at 2pm.

Parents are welcome to come and admire all of the wonderful creations! Please read the attached flyer for more information, or ask your child’s teacher if you have any questions.

Parent/Teacher/Student Interviews 

Parent/Teacher/Student Interviews will be taking place next Tuesday the 22nd of March from 3:00pm – 7:00pm next week. You should have received information on how to book using the online booking system SOBS. We are looking forward to reconnecting with everyone 😊

Whole School Cross Country – Thursday 31st March

Our whole school cross country will be taking place on Thursday 31st of March. Parents are welcome to attend to watch their child compete. It’s difficult to determine an exact start time, therefore we have two separate sessions outlined below to avoid any parents missing out on seeing their child’s race. 

Cross Country Race Sessions

Prep – Year 2     9:00am – 9:30am

Year 3 – Year 6  9:30am – 10:30am

NAPLAN – Yr. 3 and Yr. 5

Students in Year 3 and Year 5 will be participating in the national NAPLAN tests in Term 2 from Tuesday the 10th of May – Monday 16th of May. Students across the country in Yr. 3, 5, 7 and 9 complete these tests each year. This is a great opportunity for the school to reflect on our progress at one moment in time compared to other schools around Australia and the region. Our students will complete a practice test next Thursday 24th March to support them in navigating the online platform to build confidence for the full tests in May. Further information around the timetabling of the tests will be communicated next term. If you have any questions about your child and NAPLAN, please contact your child’s class teacher.
