Big Childcare
Dear Families,
For this week our children's interest was in talking about where everyone comes from.
As we are getting to know each other we also would like to share what our background is, the activities we had was all about countries we belong to.
Children developed a lot of interest in making craft activities that are for each specific country.
The children have also been doing some baking. Yesterday morning, the children prepared a delicious banana cake that was eaten for afternoon snack. Children also have learned to prepare their own breakfast in the morning.
We are in a process of developing Junior Leaders, the children that are selected will be taking charge on the running of the program alongside an educator for support. This will give children a sence of belonging within the program and also will help them develop confidence and leadership skills. I will give update next week when we complete the program.
Next week we will have a special guess that will be showing the children some Traditional dance and cooking from Spain!
