Senior Constable Anne Fefolya has worked with CGHS for about 10 years as one of our Police Youth Liaison Officers (PYLO). Anne has worked closely with our school community to provide valuable advice and guidance. Anne’s advice has always been delivered with aim of developing positive relationships, raising awareness about contemporary issues and keeping people safe.
It is with much sadness that I announce Anne has been offered another posting within the NSW Police Force. On behalf of the CGHS community and the young people she has helped, I would like to thank Anne for her contribution to our school and take this opportunity to wish her all the best for the future in her new role.

Well done to all students who attended the carnival, for many of the events we entered, we had students place in the top 10 overall.
CGHS played against St George Girls High School on 9th March. Our students showed great commitment and trained at lunchtimes leading up to the event, but were beaten by a more experienced team on the day, so unfortunately did not progress to the next round.

Congratulations Afsana on your successful selection for acting, writing and directing in Outloud's performances & facilitated conversations. Afsana followed up on a performance opportunity in which the group were seeking young ‘Creatives’ living in the Canterbury-Bankstown area. ‘About Us’ is a series of weekly discussion, presentation and readings, showcasing some of the 120+ cultures of Canterbury-Bankstown. The performed pieces will be those nominated by the audience and wider communities. Afsana will be involved as an actor and director in the engaging intercultural, intergenerational performances.
