School Council

Hi Monty families,

School council has met twice this term with our final meeting happening next week. The first meeting in February was dedicated to the new building, our update for that was in the last newsletter. The March meeting was our AGM. We welcome Amy Gedge and welcome back Amy Barclay to school council as parent reps, and welcome Matt Lewis and Lucinda Thom as school reps.

School council roles this year are:

Janene Worsam - Executive

Nicole MacDonald - President

Kirsty Leahy - Vice President

Bal Singh - Treasurer

Steph Kehoe - Secretary

Buildings and Grounds - Dave Koolstra

Parent reps - Amy Gedge, Amy Barclay

School reps - Rebekah Rentos, Matt Lewis, Lucinda Thom

Thanks to everyone who gives their time to school council, we are grateful to have such an interested and engaged group.

We are nearly at the holidays! It’s been wonderful to have school back this term, in spite of the continuing interruptions around Covid everyone has done an amazing job. A big thanks to the Monty staff for powering through a challenging term.

Looking forward to seeing all those awesome Easter hats next Friday for the parade! Have a safe and happy Easter break and see you in Term 2!
