Leadership @ MPS
As we near the end of Term 1, we breathe a collective sigh of relief to have made it through lockdown free. However, we have continued to be challenged in every sense of that word. Thank you to the MPS community for your continued support as we journeyed our way through Term 1.
As we take the time to reflect on first term, we celebrate the many achievements of our students. We celebrate the new friendships that have been made and the steps towards independence that have been taken. We celebrate the risks that have been taken and the mistakes that have been made. We celebrate the big steps that have been taken to wave goodbye in the morning and the focus that it takes to get through the school day (and the longest term we have had for a very long while!) We celebrate each and every learning attempt - no matter how big or small. We celebrate the positive partnerships made with the families of our students. And we celebrate the dedication of our staff for making it all possible.
We are looking forward to a bright and busy Term 2! Research (and experience) tells us that having something to look forward to can positively influence our state of mind. From the mouths of babes " Another movie night is what I wished for ..."
