Congratulations

A massive congratulations to Jaydah Craig who won the Dotty Award at Netball, for the player who tries their best all season! 

 

Congratulations also to the St Edward's Giants who came runners up in their division and a massive congratulations to the St Edward's Divas who had an undefeated season.

St Edward's Cricket

REGISTRATIONS CLOSE THIS FRIDAY

The start date for the upcoming season is Saturday 24th October. The competition will be the same as last year, with Teams in Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6 playing in the Schools Competition. The cost this season will be $100. If your child is in Year 3 and has done a few seasons of T20 cricket already, they can play up in the Year 4 Comp.

Term 4 Basketball

The current season for basketball will conclude early Term 4. 

A reminder that the notes that went out to the primary students for the Term 4 competition are due back to school TOMORROW Friday the 16th October.

 

The details include.

  • Starts 5th November
  • 6 week competition
  • Concludes 10th December
  • Cost $55 per player
  • New players are welcome
  • 12 month registration fee applies at a cost of $100 in addition to the competition fees (New players only to pay this).
  • Great opportunity to try basketball

Water Polo/Flippaball

Competition Dates

Flippaball will commence with 2 come and try days this Sunday 18th and 25th October at 9-10am, with competition commencing 1st November. Unfortunately due to the limited pool space with only one pool available we are running the Flippaball on a Sunday morning again this year.

For the first 2 weeks, committee members will be available to assist grading teams and players into the most appropriate grading.

Unregistered players after this time will not be permitted to enter the water as they are not covered by insurance.

Free registration for Flippaball competitions (max age 12).

Team Nominations

If you are interested in playing Flippaball, please email me at nmcculloch@arm.catholic.edu.au and I will hopefully be able to put a team together.  I will contact you to let you know if we do have a team or whether your child will need to attend a come and try day to be placed in a team. 

 

COVID Safety

Tamworth Water Polo has a COVID Safety plan and the Convenor on the night will be the COVID Safety Officer. Tamworth Water polo ask that players are dropped off/picked up or only one parent present. Social distancing is maintained by spectators using the ‘towel rule’ – bring a towel and sit a towel length apart. Do not attend if you are not feeling well or have visited a COVID hotspot in the last 14 days. Players will be required to scan a QR code on entry to the pool.
