Year 1- 2020

This year, the Year One students have thrived both learning at school and remotely from home. Students have developed new skills especially with using technology; uploading high quality work onto Seesaw including videos and voice recordings. Students loved receiving written and verbal feedback from their teachers. 

Students engaged with their teachers and peers via Zoom. During the remote learning period a highlight was our weekly Friday afternoon whole class themed meetings such as creating a crazy hat, dressing up as a superhero and sharing our favourite books. Year Ones loved returning to onsite learning and a highlight was seeing all of their friends again and being able to play on the playground. Students enjoyed participating in hands-on learning activities in the classroom with their teachers and peers. 

Even though 2020 was a very different year to anything we have experienced before, all of the Year One students displayed resilience to the different challenges, consistently showing all of the BEPS school values along the way.
