Year 8 Drama

Over the last two weeks year 8 Drama students have been working on recreating monologues from television and film. A monologue is a short speech performed by one character. Miss Quick and Miss Frost have been super impressed with the effort and quality of work students have submitted. The students have had to learn the monologue off by heart, think about the characters' mannerisms and recreate that using their expressive skills as well as think about their costuming and background when doing their final recording.

Here are some examples of the fantastic job our students have done with this task. Their next monologue that they are writing and creating themselves, is due this week and we can’t wait to see them!
