Guilford Young College - VET in Action Evening
GYC are hosting a VET in Action Evening on the Thursday 17 September to showcase their facilities and courses to both students and industry people.
The evening will be held from 4pm til 7pm at their Glenorchy campus, with visitors having the opportunity to see all their VET programs and students in action. Plus drinks and nibbles will be prepared and served by GYC hospitality students.
In addition, visitors will be guided through “The Night at the Museum” by the tourism students, the College's facilities and workshops will be on exhibit and the Outdoor Recreation, Defence and sport coaching students will also be demonstrating their skills.

A reminder for students and families that you can book a a private tour of Guilford Young College, with tours taking place on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons.

Skate Club will teach you the basics of skateboarding, help you level up and have fun in a friendly and inclusive environment!
The session will be held during the school holidays and give children the opportunity to learn from dedicated coaches, make friends and develop skills all in a safe and friendly environment.

Come & Try Badminton
Badminton Tasmania are running a Come & Try Badminton Program at South Hobart which is a great opportunity for students to prepare for the Term Four schools Badminton roster by learning basic technical and tactical skills, the rules of badminton and also the opportunity to receive a free Yonex badminton racquet.
The sessions are open to children of all ages.
