HSIE

In Year 7 History we have been studying Otzi the Iceman. 

7H and 7R completed an "autopsy" of Otzi's body and looked at the historical evidence used to support the theories about Otzi's life and death. It was a fun and hands-on lesson in which students enjoyed challenging the evidence and what conclusions can be made as a historian. 

Students will now apply what they have learnt to a written response, building on their historical knowledge and the way they use evidence to draw conclusions. 

It has been a great first term in Year 7 HSIE and we look forward to continuing to develop our skills and enthusiasm for learning throughout the year.
