Flamenco Dancing

Flamenco

At the end of Harmony Day, the whole school did Flamenco Dancing.

It was amazing to see Laura dance. I loved the different movements - such as spinning, stomping her feet fast and slow, and twirling her hands.

She used different things like fans, castanets and a Manton (scarf) to dance. It makes it fun to use those things.

I loved flamenco because I got to work with a partner. I danced with Alliana. We were good dancers. At first, it was tricky, but we got the hang of it. We laughed a lot when we made mistakes but kept going because we wanted to improve.

I thought the music was really good because it was different and had a great rhythm.

Laura asked Ms Drossaert and Ms Feddersen to get up and dance because they do flamenco dancing on Wednesdays, after school. I thought they were amazing!

We all had fun.
