My Two Blankets - The Art

On Thursday 27th, our school celebrated Harmony Day, to welcome our new Principal, Mr Sharp. We, the students, participated in many different activities, and one of those activities was drawing a blanket.

 Draw your blanket was when students got to draw and colour some squares and add things such as patterns, family names and flags - things that represented our cultures. 

We did this activity after hearing the book, "My Two Blankets, " read in other languages. 

Five students will be picked from each class based on their blanket art piece, and their creations will soon be made into one big blanket.
