PSSA SUCCESS

Evie, Xanthia, Coen and Oscar are the fourth fastest Small School Freestyle Relay in NSW!

Well done to this awesome foursome on your efforts and dedication to training during Term 1. Sacred Heart went into the PSSA competition seeded 2nd fastest from their NSWCPS times the previous week. In the heats they came 2nd and after the lunch break raced the final to come 4th by a whisker!

Well done everyone, the Sacred Heart Community is so proud of you all!!

Cross Country

Our school Cross Country will be held on Wednesday 3rd May at Jubilee Oval Boggabri. We will aim to commence at 11:45am as we will walk down after recess. Please ensure your child has packed their hat and water bottle.

The senior children will run first as they will be running the longest distance of 3km. If any parents are able to stand around the track at a track marker to direct children that would be great. Please let me know and I'll sort you a position.

A small presentation will be conducted back at school so certificates can be handed out to children that have won their age groups.  Parents are welcome to stay and enjoy a picnic lunch with their children at the conclusion of the presentation.

Children who qualify for the Diocesan Cross Country will be required to travel to Barraba on Friday 19th May. A note explaining these details will be sent out at a later date if you qualified.

PSSA TENNIS

We wish Molly Murphy all the very best of luck next week as she travels to Albury to compete in the PSSA Tennis Championships as part of the POLDING tennis team.  Molly will be competing against Catholic, Department and Independent Schools in NSW.

GO MOLLY!!
