Brentwood Pathways Expo – 4th May

The link to register for Brentwood Pathways Expo has been posted on Parent Compass portal. 

Brentwood Pathways Expo is a perfect opportunity for students and parents/carers to meet representatives from various subjects, tertiary institutions, VET providers to discuss advanced placements, VCE/VM processes, VTAC, entry requirements for universities, and plan for their VCE subjects or future pathways.

The Brentwood Pathways Expo will be held on Thursday 4th of May in the College Hall as per the following sessions:

Period 2 (9:52 - 10:52 am) - Year 9

Period 3 (11:17 - 12:17 am) - Year 10

Period 4 (12:20 - 1:20 pm) - Year 11

Period 5 (2:05 - 3:05 pm) - Year 12

Industry Immersion Days

The Pathways team is organising a few free industry immersion days for students in Years 9-11. Please visit https://www.brentwoodpathways.com/news-jobs/immersion-days for more information about each event and use the link provided to express your interest (EOI) to attend ONE of the events. First in best dressed. The team will notify the outcome of your EOI closer to the date of the event.

Year 9 Morrisby Profiling

• Morrisby interview to discuss students profile results will be during 8 – 19 May.

Year 10 Work Experience

• All Year 10 students must complete their work experience placements during 19 – 23 June.

Year 12 Pathways Counsellor Appointments

• All Year 12 VCE & VM students must book an appointment to see Ms. Dowling, the Pathways Counsellor to discuss their Career Action Plans and post-Brentwood pathways.
• Students can access the link to book appointments on Compass.

Brentwood Pathways Team

The Brentwood Pathways team aims to empower students and their families with all the latest information to explore a broad range of career opportunities, build skills and prepare them for the global marketplace, equipped with competitive 21st-century skills to pursue productive, sustainable careers.

The Brentwood Pathways team is located in the SLC building. We are open from 9 am to 3 pm on all working days. We appreciate students checking the availability of our team members via Teams and booking an appointment before seeing us in the Pathways Office.

Our team has launched a brand-new website: www.brentwoodpathways.com. This will be a one-stop shop for all year-levels for subject selections and future pathways queries, including Morrisby, Work Experience, VTAC etc.
