PFA  Update

Annalie Darlington

AGM

The PFA AGM was held on Wednesday evening. We had a good turn out, with 18 people signing up to the PFA comittee for the next year. Annalie was elected as the President for the 4th year in a row. Victoria has handed over the VP role to Kate Esam. Victoria will continue to help and assist but is understandly taking a back seat, as she approaches the end of her primary school journey. Victoria, for everything you have done in the past and hopefully in the future, we publically and loudly thank you.  Jo signed up again as Secretay for the 7th year in a row, but plans have been made to hand over duties this year to Annie. Jo has kept us organised for seven years and we are eternally thankfull for her time and organsational skills!

The elections were uncontested but we also discussed what next year might look like, as this is very much a changing of the guard/ hand over year. We then chatted through the events planned for the year, which despite all the many things we do, and Annalie's 9 pages of notes, we kept the meeting to an hour and a half!

It is never too late in the school year or indeed your school journey to get involved in the PFA in any capacity that suits you, so if you are interested in helping at all, please complete the attached form.

Mothers Day Lunch-12 May @ 12-3pm

After all the excitment and internet issues last week, this event is now sold out. It only sold out Wednesday, as we have been managing the last few tickets via the waitlist, and  slowly confirming everyones  ticket status. All people on the waitlist to date have been contacted,  with the large majority been offered a ticket. A few people remain on the waitlist, so if you can't make the event, please let the PFA know and we can allocate your ticket. The internet issues were frustrating last week, but largely due to slowness in the payment portal. Thanks to Danielle who was able to get us back online, and was able to set up the Top up wallet idea within hours, to avoid us breaking the site again on Friday. Her tech skills were  invaluable and we really appriciate the help and support. If you have not managed to secure tickets, you are welcome to join for the after party from 3pm on the day. You can enjoy the band and have a dance with everyone.

You can join the wailtlist here:

Icy Poles friday.

Thanks to Cat, Kate and the Grade 6 families young and old for the awesome work this term selling Icy poles. We have wiped the local supermarkets out of stock three times and often empited a full freezer, This is a great way for our children to end the week, there is nothing like that friday feeling! In adition to that we have raised over $4000 to put towards the new mini oval and the garden which will follow next term.

The School Uniform Shop

Thanks to Cindy, Jean and team for running 4 of these this term and raising nearly $4000. This is amazing funds towards the school and helps our families replace their kids unifom cheaply and easily. We sold out of lots of house tees last week, so we are looking at topping up orders for next term.
