Eid Mubarak

Ramadan Mubarak

Thank you to our beautiful community for coming together on Thursday afternoon to celebrate Eid-al-Fitr. The afternoon consisted of a guest speaker, food from around the globe and treat bags. We also had students share with us, what a typical EID celebration looks like with their family.

Thank you to Rayanne from 5/6 B for sharing the meaning of Eid al Fitr.

‘Eid marks the end of Ramadan, the Muslims holy month of fasting and is celebrated the first 3 days. Eid al-Fitr is the earlier of the two official celebrations. While the Quaran does not mention the celebration of Eid, the religious holiday of Eid al-Fitr is celebrated by Muslims world wide as it marks the end of the months long dawn to dusk fasting during Ramadan’.
